In the two years since tragedy struck her family, Claire has been lost. She has found solace in the comfort of horses and riding, but with high school graduation looming, the future is uncertain. Horses have always been her love, and becoming a jockey seems like an obvious career choice, however, she quickly learns that the racing industry is not all roses and mint juleps. Leaving all that she knows behind, she travels across the country to pursue a dream and struggles to find her footing in a male dominated industry.
