An Angel For Toby

At the tender age of thirteen, Toby Meyers seemed to have everything stacked against him. Cerebral palsy that has disabled him from birth complicated by terrifying extrasensory powers of which he had little control. The greatest threat of all is his abusive, estranged father who represents a constant threat to his safety. His only saving grace is his unwavering Christian faith and his devoted mother. Now, a move to a new town and a new stepfather seemed like a new beginning, at least until his evil father showed up. Soon after, his loving mother is brutally murdered. Since that time, Toby's days are filled with fear, not only from his evil father but also from the extrasensory powers that fill his head with terrible visions. Jack Preston is the sole detective in the sleepy town of Leadville, Colorado, and Toby's only hope. As Jack tackles the complicated murder case with no clues and an elusive killer, he must also grapple with his own personal demons that plague his past and threaten his future. As time begins to run out, Jack struggles to do whatever is necessary to save Toby. Along the way he finds unexpected help from an angelic intervention that will change all of their lives forever.
