The Art Deco images in this coloring book focus mainly on the outfits and backgrounds instead of the faces...where my books normally focus.Check out my entire line, including the popular Little Black Book, Once Upon A Dream and Memory Lane series, as well as my many other coloring books and journals, all available on Amazon!Special Thanks To The Amazing Artist The vintage pictures in this book were produced in the early 1900's by George Barbier (1882-1932) who was one of the great French Illustrators of the early 20th century. Born in Nantes, France on October 16th, 1882, Barbier was 29 years old at his first exhibition in 1911 and he became very popular at the time for his theatre and ballet costumes as well as his illustrations of Haute Couture Fashion. His style is famously known as Art Deco. Barbier died in 1932, at the age of 50 when he was at the very top of his success. The included pictures in this coloring book are part of the public domain and I worked to digitally enhance their clarity and color without losing the original integrity of the illustrations. After, I then converted them to grayscale. Please enjoy bringing these nostalgic vintage images to brilliant and colorful life! Happy coloring!
