This book is not written for the casual reader looking for a few positive affirmations. It will confuse and frustrate the layman; the serious student of the occult, the restless ex-Christian, the seeker who feels betrayed by religion yet haunted by the sense that something real is still calling-these are the ones who will feel compelled to wrestle with it.
Do not come to these pages as a consumer, skimming for techniques. Come as a witness. Let the words hit you, anger you, rearrange you. Question everything... especially me.
