Upon thumbing through the book's photographs Ty begins to realize that, in addition to his father's epilepsy, he has also inherited a paranormal ability. The same stimulus, which without medication triggers Ty's seizures, also allows him to photograph the invisible imprints left behind by traumatic events. With any camera, Ty Brady can take pictures of the past. An innocent photograph taken at a Halloween party throws Ty and local sheriff Gail Donovan into a web of intrigue that involves murder, an apocalyptic cult, and the renegade band of CIA operatives responsible for the Kennedy assassination.
