I came up with this book because I found it hard for my parents, who are from India, to find simple and engaging Hindi books to read to my child. I wanted to create a fun solution: a bright, playful story that grandparents, parents, and children could enjoy together.
The story follows a royal elephant who sets sail on a magical boat to find India. Along the way, he is joined by a queen cat, a playful monkey, a dancing peacock, and a sweet gentle cow. Together, the animal friends ride the splish-splashing waves toward a land filled with colors, sweets, music, and celebration.
With cheerful illustrations and simple Hindi storytelling, छप-छप भारत यात्रा is perfect for babies, toddlers, and early readers. It is a sweet way to introduce children to Hindi, Indian culture, and the joy of reading with family.
