Development planning is an essential component for rapid development in developing and emerging country. Despite its worldwide popularity, it is a much debated, hotly discussed and controversial subject among economists and development practitioners. The text book is derived from teaching materials developed by various scholars over the years to acquaint undergraduate students about the subject matter. The text book is appropriate to undergraduate students of economics department and organized under three chapters.
