Excerpt from First Progress Report: On a Multi-Channel Magnetic Drum Inner Memory, for Use in Electronic Digital Computing Instruments The ensuing report has been prepared in accordance with the terms of Contract N6-ord-139, Task Order II, between Office of Naval Research, U. S. Navy, and the Institute for Advanced Study.
