The Sickness returns.
With Helldox once again threatened by the Sickness, the three young Helldoxians Caleb, Ember and Xanthus come to the startling realization that they and their loved ones are in terrible danger. The situation becomes even more dire when Xanthus reveals he is infected with the incurable plague.
However, the Sickness is not the only problem haunting them - something is terribly wrong with Caleb. As a bio-engineered creation, it is starting to look like he is living on borrowed time, and his affliction too seems to have no cure.
As the number of Sickness cases grows, so too do echoes of the past that were entombed centuries ago.

Creatures.
People...
Is it possible that all this is somehow connected? Could it relate to the ancient history locked away in the sacred burial grounds of long-dead Demon rulers?
Amidst all the chaos, Xanthus seems convinced he's discovered a lead; to dig up the slowly emerging history of his home and rewrite it.
