On a perfect July evening in Plymouth, Vermont, Donna Hamilton watched her husband row out to a strange white dome floating in the lake behind their home. Robert stood up in the boat he built with his father, reached out, and vanished. The boat vanished with him. So did the dome. The lake healed over like skin.
