Katherine Pérez Pérez, known in literary circles as Alma Blanca or Asenat, is a Puerto Rican poet and educator based in Illinois, United States. With more than twenty years of teaching experience in Puerto Rico, Florida, and Illinois, she has dedicated her career to the education of Spanish-speaking students and the promotion of inclusive education. Her poetry has been published in several international anthologies, including Vivas las queremos: Voces del mundo contra el feminicidio, which was recognized at the 2024 International Latino Book Awards, held in California.
