As our world is constantly changing, nationalities, cultures and languages are mixing, I have found it important todiscuss a topic that is dealing with multiculturalism in languageteaching. It is not only the duty of parents to draw children'sattention to this fact but it is also the responsibility ofteachers. Living together is not an easy task for people therefore, we have to learn it and we have to teach it as well. Maybe theacceptance of otherness and the development of tolerance is themost difficult problem to solve. That\'s why I have chosen thesentence above, which is true and wise although, it is only theoryand things rarely coincide with this in practice - we just have tolook around in our world. I do not think that I am able to find asolution nevertheless, I am going to investigate and analyse somepossibilities.
