The tuberose flowers and spikes are durable, remain fresh for long time and stand for distant market transportation due to their waxy nature appeared on the flowers. Tuberose is a heavy feeder and requires a large quantity of NPK, both in the form of organic and inorganic fertilizers. Fertilizers have great influence on plant growth and flower production in tuberose.
