Kompletní popis

She wanted an explanation as to why her most important patient-Jean Silverstein, Mayor of Detroit, a forty-six- year-old mother of two, happily married, in the prime of life-had suddenly dropped dead. The doctors at Sinai Hospital in Detroit are baffled by the death of their mayor. An undetected brain aneurysm is suspected at first, but when Dr. Newman witnesses the mysterious deaths of other influential public figures, it becomes clear that something is amiss. His suspicions are confirmed following brain surgery on the Governor of New Mexico. Soon, he finds himself taking part in top-secret military action of the highest importance. Dr. Fred Zydeck has an extensive background in medicine. After graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 1966, he spent a number of years in academic medicine. While teaching and being involved in biomedical research at a leading school of medicine in the U.S.A., he published numerous research articles in various human and veterinary medical journals. After retiring from biomedical research as Chairman of the Medical Schools Department of Comparative Medicine, he practiced small animal veterinary medicine for a number of years. He is now enjoying a happy retirement with his wife of almost fifty years, Betty. They spend their time between homes in Michigan and Florida in the United States of America.
