"Revival: Central North America 1" contains the stories of different people from different times and locations from the World of Nightfall.

The Great Plains used to be America's heartland, the bread basket that fueled the country. Then came the Scourge, plague, mutations, and earth-shaking disasters. The plains turned from amber waves of grain to a barren wasteland. But humanity bounced back. Slowly, people came together. New nations were formed from the ashes of the Old World. Nations like the Northern Plains Confederacy, New Wisconsin, and the Central Republic. Free towns like Lakeport and Jayhawk, and medieval strongholds like Fortress. People came together, drawn by creed, religion, or simple geography. They came together for comfort and human contact, but mostly for strength and survival. The new world can be a horrifying and dangerous place where only the truly rsilient will survive.
