I fought my way onto the boys' lacrosse team when I was sixteen, and learned how to survive high school under a microscope. Not much has changed all these years later now that I'm varsity's head coach at my old school. I'm still proving I belong, refusing to be quiet, and dealing with parents who think the job should've gone to a man.
