Polly Conway now lives in luxury as the wife of Dominic Manone but, bored by her overprotective husband, finds distraction in a dangerous affair. Dominic has troubles enough of his own as his gangster father draws him into a drastic venture involving Edgar Harker, a sinister go-between, Penny Weston, a beautiful and amoral blonde and an unimaginable fortune in forged banknotes.
