Emily's teenage years had been marred by bullies because she was different. It wasn't just about how she looked, or that she preferred girls to boys. But troubles pile upon troubles and things seem to happen around Emily that she just can't explain.
Now, living together in a high-rise flat deep in the crumbling concrete estates, an attack by an ancient and mysterious woman leaves the girls for dead in a cold, dark alley.
Emily believes her beloved Mads to have died in the blast, but the appearance of a sinister creature in the darkness suggests otherwise.
