Who is in control of your life? You? Someone else? Are you captive?
Most of us like to think that we are in control of our life. "No one tells me what to think or what to believe. No one determines my decisions for me; that is my choice. No one tells me what to say. No one can judge my attitudes about anything or anyone. I am in control!!!"
Then there are those who want the freedom to be in control of their life, but there is someone who demands their control, and you are not free to do and think and decide for yourself. Do you need to escape someone's control of your life, but don't know how?
And then there are those who find themselves making bad choices, saying things they wish they had not said, having attitudes they can't seem to change, wanting to eat right and exercise, but never get there. They find themselves thinking lowly of themselves, fearful of life, worried, anxious or depressed. They want to be in control, but fail.
How does control of my life actually work? I like to think that I am in control, but are there forces manipulating me that are out of my sight? How would I know if I am deceived? Do I even know myself well enough to be sure?
This is a biblical study about control that answers all of these questions.
