Mattie Delaney and her three sisters are distraught when their father Melvin is killed in cold blood. Their nemesis, a greedy land baron by the name of Gordon Ransdall, is hell bent on acquiring as much land as he can, at whatever the cost.
Mattie and her family live in constant fear of the next attack. Ransdall, ruthless in his pursuit, will stop at nothing to achieve his quest.
With no help from the sheriff, Mattie and her family take up arms to defend their home and all they hold dear. Ranch hand Eli McFerson, a Civil War Veteran and sharpshooter and other local victims, join their small band of resistance.
The night arrives when they square off against Ransdall and his gang of marauders, who stage an all-out attack on their ranch. Bullets fly and blood is shed as the siege unfolds.
