The Rainbow Adventure is an 11-page picture book for ages 4-6, featuring Mum, Dad, big sister Ruby (11), and twins Ivy and Lily (6).
On a rainy Saturday, the family is stuck inside until the rain stops and a huge rainbow appears. Dad jokes there might be treasure at the end of it, so they all head out to find it - splashing through puddles, meeting a snail and a robin, and sharing silly jokes along the way. The rainbow fades before they reach the end, but Mum points out that the real treasure was the adventure itself: being together. They head home for hot cocoa and agree it was the best rainy day ever.
The book closes with a "Let's Talk About the Story!" page - six simple Q&A pairs (what happened, who they met, what the treasure turned out to be) to help kids recall and discuss the story.
