Life rides a roller coaster as it hits its fantastic highs and then drops back down to its unwanted lows. This is natural; it happens to everyone. Unfortunately, many teenagers feel alone in the world. They wonder why they were punished and everyone else's life seems to be going so well. The collection of poems in "You're not Alone" reflects the pain, confusion, love, hate, heartbreak, anxiety, and loneliness that all teenagers go through at one point and time. It reminds them that they are not rowing the boat by themselves but rather, that they have an entire crew rowing with them. They are all attempting to reach a like goal: To make it through their teenage years. Their wish will come true.
