DC Attorney and TV News commentator Elaine Bower-Camden is waiting for the call of her life., from the Attorney General of the United States nominating her for a federal judgeship appointment. But when she answers the phone, it's a reporter asking "what do you have to say about April McFarland's allegations against your husband?" In an instant the best day of her life turns into a nightmare, especially for a woman whose legal career is defined by championing the rights of women. Fearful that her judicial appointment could be jeopardized by accusations that Ted committed sexual assault, Elaine cuts herself off completely from him.
